While apparently okay in Hyrule, this would be illegal in Anoka, MN.

In Anoka County, Minnesota, the following things can get you classified as a vagrant, which is a misdemeanor. Which one of these things is not like the other things? (In English, a vagrant is a homeless person or wanderer.)

  • A person who is found loitering on private groundw without consent of the owner and is unable to account for being there.
  • A prostitute who loiters on the streets or public places to solicit for immoral purposes.
  • A person who derives support in whole or in part from begging.
  • A fortune teller.

A law against being a fortune teller! Could anyone have seen that coming?

To be fair, the fortune teller has to get some sort of “support” from fortune telling to be a vagrant, but that could be a simple service trade or small fee. You can see the whole text of the law here.
