I’ve heard of lots of incidents of people calling the police over fast food orders, but this is the first one I’ve seen where the person doing the calling actually was a cop. This happened right here in Arizona.

Police Crash

Parking FAIL, originally uploaded by Maulleigh.

“Evidently, Westchester cops are unaware that parking in front of fire hydrants is against the law in the Bronx.”

I believe we have found where they go to die.

Oops.

From bostonherald.com:

Hitting up a strip joint while on duty to catch “Bridget the Midget” do her act was a “stupid decision” that has cost a Stoughton crimefighter his job and reputation, the repentant cop told the Herald yesterday.

That quick peek inside Alex’s gentleman’s club, along with other infractions, forced Officer Richard P. Bennett, 28, to hand in his badge.

Bennett was quoted saying, “A part of me wants to say, ‘Where was the news when I pulled someone out of a burning car last year?” You fuck one goat…

Cop With Anarchy Tattoo

anarchy cop, new york on Flickr – Photo Sharing!.

How many FAILs can you count in this picture?

From the photographer:

this shot was taken at the protest against the republican national convention in new york a few years ago. the atmosphere was great – even the police were talking nicely to people! (mostly). i saw a glimpse of this anarchy tattoo under this cops shirt and i asked if i could take a quick photo. he agreed on the condition that i didn’t show his face or badge. i guess he had an interesting path to becoming a police officer.

Cop Taking "Notes"

But the “I’m taking notes” thing seems to be working, so I wouldn’t knockers knock it.

Stripper arrested 22 times for impersonating a police officer

It turns out that protesting freelance journalists in “stripper” costumes aren’t the only ones who get arrested for impersonating police officers. Telegraph.co.uk reported that Stuart Kennedy, a 25-year-old college student, has been arrested 22 times for “impersonating a police officer,” but he hasn’t been convicted once.

Still, it seems like, after the 21st time getting arrested, he would have said, “Hey, maybe I’ll NOT wear the police officer costume today.” He could have gone out as a construction worker or a sailor, or any of the other Village People.

This is FAILocracy’s FIRST (and hopefully weekly) FAILdown for the week’s political FAILs.

This week:
Charges dropped against cop who had sex with cows.
Police play Wii Bowling while on the job.
Chicago cop parked in handicap spot.
Riot police ruin birthday party.
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernankes failed economic predictions
Obama fails to bring the Olympics to Chicago.
Teaching kids to worship Obama.

Speed Trap Fail.

epic fail pictures

Had Ice T released the song “Cop Killer” today, it might have been praised as an anthem of the blue collar bounty hunters.

This reminds me of those road construction signs that say, “Injure or kill a worker: $10,000.” Why does the government want highway workers dead? Also, in my understanding, hitmen and women, hitpeople, contract killers don’t get paid if they only injure the person, but in the case of highway workers, they apparently get paid the same as they would if they killed them!
